Help needed!

It's a bit confusing.  Nowadays in the United States, they usually both refer to the evening meal.  Here is some more information from wikipedia: [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supper]link[/url].<br><br>"In the United Kingdom, supper is a small meal just before bedtime, often preceded by high tea; what a Canadian or American would refer to as supper, then, would be called dinner.
