雅思Task2 “牛刀初试"
请问下面的文章可以拿多少分呢？能有什么改进吗？大家畅所欲言哦。你们的意见很重要啊。Task2
Children brought up in families with less money are better prepared for life than those from wealthy families. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays, a multitude of people hold the view that children reared in poor families are better prepared for life than those from well-off families, whereas I deem this saying is partial and we could not judge a child whether he or she is better prepared for life merely by the family background especially by the property a family owns. An individual’s experiences and abilities should be included in the judgment.
We might tend to believe that experiences recommend talent for life. No matter what kind of families he comes from, that whether he will deal with later life better than others relies on the experiences he has gained in life. Plenty of cases in point are that if he has formed the habit of saving money since childhood, he will know better money management when he is old enough to run a family; if he has learned how to cook and how to wash his own clothes since he was a child, he can take good care of himself after he leaves home. On the contrary, a person with less experiences of living a life, such as not knowing any urgent solutions to a disease may seem inferior to those who have ever been volunteers for hospitals or nursing homes. Thus, living experiences are fundamental preparations for life in the future.
Another important point is that a person’s abilities weigh as heavy as experiences when judged whether he is well prepared for life. It is not difficult for us to understand that youngsters with greater abilities to deal with life problems are prone to make more and better preparations for life. They can predict what might happen in the future according to the education and knowledge they have acquired and make caution before unexpectedness occurs. If unluckily, disasters strike them, they are still capable enough of tacking the problem head-on.
All in all, children with host of experiences and abilities are far more competitive in preparing for life than those with less. Judging them whether are better prepare for life in store by family background cannot stand firm.
