[6/14] 上海G类雅思 复习记录帖
我6/14在华师大考G类，距离考试还有47天。开此帖记录个人复习历程，也准备与鸭友经验共享。 先贴一份昨天做的4.12日G类作文题。貌似是海外的题。小作文：
you recently bought a item of clothing in another town, but found some problems with it after you returned home, write a letter to the manager and say what happened, what are the problems, and what you would like them to do.
Dear Manager,
I recently bought a pullover from your shop when I was travelling to Sydney. It is really a stylish cloth which I am fond of. However, due to the limit of the time when travelling, I purchased this cloth in such a hurry that I didn’t well choose the right size for me and, unfortunately, I didn’t notice my mistake until I arrived home which is 8000km away from you.
Since it is my favorite cloth and more over, the first souvenir that I bought in Australia, I definitely want to wear and show it around to my friends. Considering the current situation, would you please replace this X size one with an XL size one for me? I fully understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and kindness.
In addition, I would like to pay any shipment fees caused by this replacement. Please let me know how much it will be. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

大作文
Travel from and to work is becoming more difficult. One solution is that employers should allow employees to work from home. Do you agree that the advantages are more than disadvantages?
Due to drastic expanding speeds of cities, spending two or three hours or even more on the road between home and office is becoming a common situation among contemporary young workers. As a result, the popularity of working at home is increasing explicitly. Accompanied with this new working style, an argument about its pros and cons leaped into the public eye.
Pro-home-working supporters indicate that home provides employees a relaxing environment that is different from offices which are obviously tenser. According to researches, mankind has higher productivity in a relaxed status rather than with too much stress. Also, home-working enables female workers to care about children during the work time. To employers, less staff in the office saves the office space and facilities.
Meanwhile, people who oppose working at home also have tenable reasons. First, without monitoring, employees may be over-relaxed while working which may result in distraction and mistakes. Since staff works at home separately, it increases the difficulties to communicate with each other. As a result, telecommunication costs and information-security problems have to be taken into consideration. Second, team spirit which plays a vital role in all spectrums of industry is weakened in such a new working style.
In my opinion, home working is a supplement to the traditional working style - working in an office - for major business. The advantages the new style brings cannot completely eclipse its potential drawbacks. However, it is still practical for certain people such as parents who have strong responsibility to childcare and disabled people.

这是我第一次写G类作文，3年前考过A类也上过培训班，但是现在时间久了写起来还是有点生疏。写的时候没有控制时间还用Google搜论点论据……自我感觉这么写应该是在6～7分吧，但是上考场还不够格。 刚做完剑桥雅思4的Test2听力，发觉难度比3大，陷阱巨多。这里列了一下：
Section 1.第一题女问男要喝什么，男说chilled mineral water然后紧接着又问will you have another coffee?按听关键字去听很容易掉进陷阱选coffee而不是cold drink. 然后是一些旅游景点填空。这里的对话没有明显指示词可以定位题目，听起来相当吃力，也需要记忆力。
Section 2. 10道选择题，一个人的presentation。发觉正确答案大都不是听到的原文内容而是原文内容的paraphrasing，而错误答案经常出现在原文中而且有相同的单词，相当难搞的题目，想不出有什么好的方法应对。
Section 3。 开始的一个填空题4题都是数字而且在录音中的间隔非常之短，我听到第一个fif(teen) hundred之后想了想，写下来，后面的答案已经错过了。而且这个fif(teen)读了非常像fifty,造成迷惑。另外选择题选2个disadvantage，其中第二个选项less likely to reveal the unexpected被男同学否定了，但却仍然是正确选项，看样子需要用到“男女同学有问题女同学总是正确的”原则了。后面表格填空给答案的速度仍然很快，但是看答案空格的位置可以预判出，问题不大。
Section 4。又是篇比较高深的文章选择题的正确答案仍然是原文的paraphrasing,图标填空中的原意转换更到的极致，其中35题原文是conventional crime possible to follow WITHOUT specialized knowledge而答案是coporate crime need ______，能定位这题的关键词离答案又比较远，能找出specialized knowledge不容易。另外最后一题选择题也是很难从定位关键词来找到答案。
test 2基本都是美英，语速比较快，完全听懂有难度啊……:han2 我6.28华师大考试，不知道是否可以一起复习？ 楼主真的好努力，崇拜一下，我是6月14日财大的G类，不过到现在为止，还没开始复习。看见这个帖子，很惭愧呢。顺便问下，看你的这个作文，我觉得7分至少没什么问题，你想考几分啊。 *** 作者被禁止或删除 内容自动屏蔽 ***
