four rhythms in nature: day-night's rhythm, tidal rhythm and seasonal rhythm. <o:p></o:p>

＋ another rhythm that can't be seen: gravitational rhythm. 

 <o:p></o:p>

day-night's change is periodical and rhythmical. <o:p></o:p>

called day-night's rhythm of nature. <o:p></o:p>

Some animals do activities at night and rest at daytime, for example, owl, vole, roach, bat<o:p></o:p>

Some animals do activities at daytime and rest at night, for example, chicken, duck, pig<o:p></o:p>

day-night's biorhythm of animal is controlled by biological clock in its body. <o:p></o:p>

Scientists did a test for roaches in order to set biological clock of animal back or forward. <o:p></o:p>

Roach is an insect which rests at daytime and works at night. <o:p></o:p>

Scientists put some roaches into a test room and reversed artificially the order of day and night in the test room. <o:p></o:p>

finally, the roaches just worked in the artificial "dark night" time even though it was a daytime in fact. <o:p></o:p>

Tidal rhythm of nature. Tide comes in or goes out by a regular way<o:p></o:p>

Every tide always comes later 50 minutes than last one. Namely, the cycle of tidal rhythm is 24 hours 50 minutes .<o:p></o:p>

small crab in seabeach; living in a tidal environment; avoid tidal strike for life. <o:p></o:p>

By training and adaptation for a long time, it follows the tidal rule. <o:p></o:p>

It usually gets out of its hole for finding food after every tide just goes out. <o:p></o:p>

It always gets into its hole 10 minutes in advance when next tide comes in again. <o:p></o:p>

It's just later 50 minutes than last day when the small crab gets into its hole everyday. <o:p></o:p>

 <o:p></o:p>

seasonal changes forms when the earth moves a circle around the sun. <o:p></o:p>

Each change is periodical and rhythmical, which is called seasonal rhythm of nature.<o:p></o:p>

Some animals can form a rhythmical action with the seaconal changes, <o:p></o:p>

e.g. birds' migration, the hibernation of snake or frog <o:p></o:p>

 <o:p></o:p>

a rhythm which man can not see in nature---gravitational rhythm<o:p></o:p>

caused by relative movements between the earth and any of other celestial bodies<o:p></o:p>

All of matters in nature are attracted by the gravitation from the moon.<o:p></o:p>

So, gravitational rhythm from the moon should belong to a natural rhythm. <o:p></o:p>

e.g. woman’s menstrual rhythm.<o:p></o:p>

一个月前的新东方阅读课的情景我还记忆尤新啊，不知道什么时候 harvey能把你光头的澳洲照片传上来给大家看看，哈哈（玩笑啦。。。。:-D)

harvey老师好！

 我是您寒假YA0405班的一名学员，非常感谢您的指导，我现在正在积极的备考过程中，现在有几个小问题先请教您一下： 首先是关于阅读的问题，那些不在您精读文章范围内的文章（大黄和大蓝里的）做完后应该怎么处理呢？也应该在对完答案后 再到原文去核对一下的吧，里面的生词也需要背的吧。

 再有就是单词的问题，我已经考过了4级，成绩是87。我想多背一下关于雅思的单词，您可以介绍一本比较好的单词书吗？ 市面上光新东方出的单词书就有起码3本（胡老师的读故事背单词，李传伟老师的阅读扩充词汇，还有那本专门的雅思词汇白本） 环球也有什么词汇书（里面分保6争7，保7分等几类）实在不知道哪本比较合适。 我想我的精力比较充沛，可以在背大黄单词的同时再跟着一本单词书背一遍，希望Harvey能帮助我，介绍一本好书！

 如果想模拟一下真实考试，剑桥雅思1，2，3哪本难度，题型更加贴近于真实考试呢？（大众的说法是2，1比较简单，3比较难）

 还有看见许多人都说过听力机经很有用，也有很多听力高分的人说自己碰上了机经，也有人说过听力的机警要看就要背熟，否则 就不要看，所以机经（听力的）到底该不该看，应该怎么处理，希望您点明！

 最后，虽然我知道真正提高自己的口语表达能力和写作技巧是起决定性作用的，但是如果把机警和新东方的培训书里的TOPIC全 准备一遍，在最后的考试中会不会有很大效果，甚至碰上类似的呢？遇见从来没有见过的可能性又有多大呢？

 一下问您那么多问题实在不好意思，但是这些都是我非常想知道的问题，也关系到我很多复习计划和策略的制订和执行，希望您 能在百忙中回复我，在这里先谢过了！

环球那本分级词汇（杨帆，包6争7，包7etc)太滥了，信手一翻，好多单词释义不准，音标也错的一塌糊涂，跟书后简介的吹嘘实在很不相称喔。我都不知该用什么词汇书了，大家给点建议吧。

well, here i got one question for you and hope u can do me a favour:

I will take my lielts exam 22nd May and i am taking this course at this moment. but i still have a lot of problem for my vocabulary. and i really dont know how to make it in such a short time. i born in china but i was living in malaysina, kuala lumpr for such so many year. when i was there i stuied in madarin school so i have no probme to speak englsih but i do have some probme for writing and reading.    At this moment i am working in beijing and i speak englsih almost everyday.,expecially with my frends. but i do know that i have a big problem for reading such as acdamic articles..

probalby    it is pretty hard for you to give me some good ideas to improve my reaing in such a short period. Or maybe it dones...well, i gonan wait then.
