During recent days many young people who are still in their teenage are likely to be independent. They wish to leave home to study or work when they are very young. But leaving home at this period for these young people is really good? I think that everything has two sides.
The advantages of leaving home early are obviously. Firstly, these young people must learn to how to live without parents’ supporting, not only including the money, but also including the ability of self-care. They have to face every difficulty they will meet in the life. That’s the reason why the young persons usually show more adaptive ability than those who leave home later. Secondly, these young people have more chances to meet all kinds of people, and of course, to make more friends. They can learn social knowledge which can not be taught in schools. All of these sound interesting and seem to be good for young people.
However, there are also some crucial disadvantages about leaving home earlier. Young people at teenage usually have not ability to classify right things and wrong things. There are all kinds of people in our society. Just letting these young people face our society without parents’ help is irresponsible. They may go right way and also they may go wrong way. If they make mistakes and nobody help them correct their behaviors, when they grow up, maybe it is too late or they have wasted lots of time. Meanwhile, they must earn enough money for supporting their independent life. It is a too heavy burden for teenage peoples to afford.
In my views, I think just staying at home is a better choice for teenage people. I believe that at this time they should spend most of time on studying, which is the most important thing for them during teenage period. They will learn not only the basic knowledge but also how to build personal belief. If they want to get some social knowledge, they can find a part-time job without influencing their study. You will find that if they do not waste time during this period, they will have good futures.
