第一部分主要讲了管理层(high status)工作的私人空间比较大，而low status工作的私人空间很小，噪音也很大。总之差别很大了，意思很容易理解，这部分的最后讲到现在的一些管理者有时候已经只通过电话，传真等等信息设备工作了，好像就是题中说的work from home。（这是考点，问你现在为什么一些员工不喜欢他们的管理者在家里工作，选的是因为看不到，不透明）
第二部分讲了现在的人地位升高了会怎么样，一般会把旧房子卖了，买新房子，装修房子，然后把房子搞得很现代，告诉人们我现在这些都已经拥有了。
第三部分讲一些大公司喜欢在位置比较好的地方啊，容易造成交通堵塞啊，大概就是讲公司的建筑位置等。这部分没有仔细看，有很多描述，对做题没有太大影响。
