TASK2:In schools, some live animals are used in biological experiments or researches. Some people think that this kind of practice is cruel and unnecessary, while others believe it for the interest of human being. Explain the two views.

Many schools, especially those medical or biological schools, would use live animals, such as rats or rabbits, for the experiments or researches. Those animals are usually raised for experiments in the labs. Most of them would get hurt injured or even killed during the experiments. Moreover, some of them would have been tortured or suffered greatly from those experiments.
There are two different views referring to this phenomenon. Some people believe that this is for the interest of human being. As human is the proper arbitrator of the world today, we have the right to decide what we are going do to other lives. This is like we eat vegetable, fruit, fish, beef and chicken. We can kill them for food, clothes and many other purposes, then why not for experiments? This is for scientific research, which is the basis of progress on many subjects such as medicine and biology. We won’t have the modern society like what we have seen nowadays without these experiments, thus this is by no means aimless slaughter.
However, there are also many others who argue this is very cruel and unnecessary. Take the respect of humanity, why is human superior to other creatures in the world, and why shall we take it for granted to wield absolute power of killing other lives, which are actually our neighbors sharing the same land? Imagine that you are at the position of those small and unaided animals, what kind of lives that they have to endure rather than enjoy? They are raised or more like produced massively to be killed in a class, just to confirm what already proved by previous scientists and have been written on the textbooks. Maybe sometimes we have to sacrifice other lives during researches in order to save people’s lives, that should be a completely different situation, their sacrifice is much more meaningful and necessary than just for experiments done by a large number of students or people who take it as an interest.
