Will, I am not sure if they are Study Group or not,
but one thing is that CET is the only department which USYD accept their result instead of IELTS.
The quality of teaching may be similar, but for Student Group's students, they must pass IELTS at last.
However if you are CET's student & pass E-TEST in CET, you will needn't pass IELTS.
What should be careful is
if you apply these 2 language school at the same time, CET may refuse you to enrol in their school.
That has happened on one of my friends.(Because your first visa is issued bass on your language school's offer, CET will not accetp those students whose VISA are not bass on their offer.)
If you just want learn language, you can choose as you wish.
If you want study in USYD, CET is the best choise right now.
