It goes without saying that teaching academic subjects play a important part in educating children,but it does not mean that this is the only responsibility of teachers.As a qualified teacher,to teach the differece between right and wrong,in my opinion,is probably have the same meaning as to provide children with knowledge.
There are several reasons account for my opinion.First of all,to be a full developed man with correct world outlook,one need to be educated how to tell right from wrong since early ages.Learning academic subjects,to a large extent,is actually acquiring surviving skills and qualifications for one's future career. Whilst obtainning ability of judging right from wrong would probably ,in some way,help one to construct correct world outlook,that is how to look at the world in a right way and then lead to appropriate response,which is considerable crucial for one's social life as they grow up .
Furthermore,I suppose,it is children's nature which really need to be taken into account in this discussion .Such is kids'nature,that they are so immature and innocent that they might easily to be misled and even go astray unless they are warned previously.Since there are so much informantion(some contained negative content)on Internet,telivision ect.which children can easily available nowadays.
Based on what I analysed above and considering the long periods that childern spend st shool, now I may safely conclude that shools and teachers are probably the other group,except parents,who should take the responsibility for children's instruction,including providing students with the way to distinguish virture from evil as well as offering acdemic education.
