As the development of our society, there are more and more people pay attention to what teachers should teach students. Most people believe that teachers should instruct students to judge what is right and what is wrong, while others argue that teachers should only teach students academic subjects in schools.
There are several reasons to demonstrate the first one. First of all, it will make children keep a clear mind no matter when they are. So when these young people do something indefinitely it not only can make them to avoid harming other people but also can let themselves avoid the influence which was caused by their mistake. Secondly, that also can stretch students’ minds. Because when they have learned how to judge what is right and what is wrong, they can deal with lots of things by themselves. Thirdly, students tend to come up with their own opinions to the situation faced instead of tuning to their teacher or parents for help. So most people think that the first one is much better than only teaching students academic subjects.
On the other hand, others insist that studying academic subjects in schools is the most important things for a student. They believe that academic subjects is more useful than others and more academic subjects their children have, more repay they will get in the future.They don’t care about their children’s all- around development.
Weighing the two arguments, I am in support with the first one. I believe that students can benefit from the first teaching method more than the second one.
