<H1>Space Travel</H1>
<P><FONT size=3> Nowadays, space travel arose a lot controversies in public. Some people are in favor of space travel,which brings the fun,exhilaration as well as satisfaction of conquering the mystic outer space. While others consider it is unpractical an somewhat immature. As far as I concern, the negatives of space travel outweigh the benefits concerning to the following aspects:</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=3> It is known that space travel would cost a large amount of money. As to one space mission, the cost would be around $20 million, that means only the billionaires could afford it. By contrast, if they contribute the money into some charity organizations,that would by no means be more efficiently used. For instance, to build a Hope School would only cost around $25,000. That is to say,one single space travel equals 800 Hope Schools for poor children, who may create considerable contributions to the society in the future. Apart from this, the money can also be used to help protect the species on the verge of extinction, African people in starvation as well as refugees in unfortunate disasters.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=3> Besides, space travel makes negative environmental contributions to the earth. For one thing, the space travel has lost its science research motivation but degraded itself commercial behavior. It would intrigue people to over exploit the natural resources, as the energy depletion of the spaceship is very huge,which accelerates the resource exhaustion. For another, the space garbages produced by the Spaceship are not easy to collect and dispose, which leaves a environmental hazard to us.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=3> Last but not the least, there are many potential dangers for the space tourists. Such as the high level radiation , as well as bone and muscle loss, pose the greatest challenges to human health. What's worse,even a trifle mistake would be fatal to the tourists in outer space.It's not worth risking one's life on an adventurous travel.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=3> In the view of the factors listed above, I believe that space travel should not be advocated.The money for space travel should be spent on the one who need it most. And It's not good for the sustainable development of environment,</FONT></P>[em11][em11]
