Even though a number of people , regardless of the rich or the poor , the old or the young , have a dream that one day they could travel to the moon , which seems to be a fantastic plan , in my opinion , this is impracticable . I would like to investigate some reasons following for my view.
The main problem of that “beautiful dream” is that it ignorant of the basic fact that the cost would be extremely high , like an astronomical figure . According to the report , just two American and a Russian have traveled to the moon by now , so what we can conclude is that it isn’t a normal dream that the average billionaires can afford . But just think , if there is immense value which can equal to such quite a bit of money ? Maybe it can make deeper sense when invested to the charities , such as the Children’s Foundation and the Red Cross of China . Looking around the benefits of the mercy behavior , not only will the money can help more children have the chance to receive education and save more people , it also can bring the investor great honor , and may encourage more rich people to participate charities .
To make a moral sense , another essential factor why I advocate the argument of not traveling to the moon is that it may cause social problems . Noting the giant difference between billionaires and themselves , and depressed by heave life pressure , the poor may feel unbalanced when some people can go to the moon for amusing but they even can be crazy for a piece of bread . Perhaps they will consider themselves as the children abandoned by God ! And then , poverty , added to inferiority , desperation and jealousy can lead to violence and guilt , which will disturb our social stability .
In addition , conquering the nature , being the king of the earth have expose the greed and selfishness of human beings , so do traveling to the moon . Maybe universe is the next gold of human !
Taking account of all these factors , I strongly commit to the notation that we’d better not travel to the moon . Life is not just entertainment . Invest your time , power and wealth to other more valuable things to establish our richly endowed and happy common world !
