<P  align=center><B >Space  travel<o:p></o:p></B></P>
<P >Known to us all, a Chinese legend tells that there is a beautiful and lonely fairy living on the moon, only with her white rabbit. When we were children, we dreamed that one day we could go to the moon and meet the charming fairy. Today, with the fast development of modern space technology, traveling on the moon is not even a dream. The first step of that American astronaut stamping on that silent planet announced our dream became true. However, traveling on the moon is whether a positive activity or not, that issue will be clarified through the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of flying to the Luna. <o:p></o:p></P>
<P ><o:p> </o:p></P>
<P >In my opinion, the first advantage of traveling on the silent planet is to stimulate more and more people to explore on the field. The optimistic view is that if people can travel on it, they also can settle on it. Emigrating people to that planet helps to decrease the great pressure of the earth. The planet will become the broadened space for human living. The second significance is that traveling to such a far away place will satisfy our curiosity; broaden our horizons about the cosmos, the nature and the existence of ourselves. The last good aspect is that because such a long traveling is out of our traditional mind, maybe lots of old concepts will be changed by this process and lots of new discoveries will astonish us. For example, we have found that the seeds which experienced the magic travel will grow up to bigger and stronger vegetables than these without that experience.<o:p></o:p></P>
<P ><o:p> </o:p></P>
<P >However, the disadvantages may be also from the results which some people seems good.  Intruding into that holy place, people will bring not only the construction but also the pollution even the destruction, such as the garbage of people’s daily life, the leftover of used energy, the noise from industry, the destruction of the system balance of the planet, etc. The second defect is a gigantic investment for an uncertain result. For an individual, is it worth spending so much money on this activity? Is that travel safe enough with the present space technology capacity? And the last negative aspect is that travel will cause confused mind of human. Were the people who lived on the moon growing slower than people who lived on the earth? Would any biological reflections of human be present that was harm to people’s health?  Such as the possibility of people’s biological clock altered or the people’s gene changed.<o:p></o:p></P>
<P ><o:p> </o:p></P>
<P >Because of the space navigation is at the stage of more deep exploration, there are much more uncertainties in this field. All of the above is my own perspectives. Traveling to the moon has positive and negative aspects which coexist together. The choice of whether going to the moon may depend on the choice of restraining our conquest desire or pursuing for it.  <o:p></o:p></P>
