<P><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>Though the harmonic development is a mainly concerned issue in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">China</st1:place></st1:country-region> recently, the current situation is residents in cities are provided with better educational and medical services than those who live in countryside. Can you imagine most of the teacher working for the <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Hope</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">School</st1:PlaceName> in the western of <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">China</st1:place></st1:country-region>, to a certain extent who can be only called helper, just have high school diploma? Can you imagine over 1000 farmers share one doctor in an undeveloped area? I agree that every new doctor and teacher should serve the impoverished region other than working in the large cites.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>Firstly, every citizen, no matter living in what part of the country, is born with equality. It is the government’s responsibility to protect their rights to receive the equivalent public services, especially to ensure what the poor people deserve. The privilege of education and medical facilities in urban and the opposite situation in the rural area may lead to disasters, say, the indifference heart of children lack of education or concern, the tragedy of a huge family due to the death of bread earner and the resent presented in the unfairly treated region. <o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>Secondly, working for the poor would be a treasure to the immature teachers and doctors, both technically and emotionally. The practicing experience is such a fundamental factor to these two occupations that serving the variety of public in the countryside will benefit them a lot. Moreover, they will become more sympathetic than their fellows in big cities trapped themselves in the struggling for social status and fortune. <o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT size=3>Lastly, highly competitive job market makes the graduates more likely to find a job outside the center cities, willingly as well. Still, some of the students are from these poverty-stricken regions. It is their real accomplishment to go back home and contribute their own effort.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>To summarize, I am for the opinion that new teachers and doctors should work in the rural areas for a couple of years. This would change the unbalanced development in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">China</st1:country-region></st1:place> and benefit the helpers themselves.</FONT></P>
