Heated debated over issues of children’s education have been to the public concern. Some people believe that the children’s personality is by nature. Other , however, claim that the growing surroundings have enormous impact in children’s personality. They believe children’s personality is by nuture. I agree with the latter proposal for the following 2 reasons.
To begin with, the family education plays a crucial role in shaping their personality. After one is born, the surrounding environment is their family in which they grow up. Hence, family exerts a significant effect in the children’s lifetime. According to a science magazine’s reports, almost 50% of the criminals grew up under unhappy childhood memories, and most of their parents have some unfavorable behaviors, such as, gambling and violent inclination. Those who are brought up in better environment tend to process more pleasure characters. The likelihood that children will be successful in their future is high.
Furthermore, another essential factor why I advocate this argument is that the friends influence children more than their parents. When children become old enough to interact with others they have their own friends. They will socialize with each other and obtain different experiences, which will impact their way of thinking, behavior and inclination, whereas children are too young to judge which is right and which is wrong. They intend to impact what they see, which is impacting their dispassion and characteristic. No wonder those parents in England are keen to send their children to famous schools, such as Eden public school. They all believe that the environment is influencing and determining their children.
To sum up, from what has been discussed above, we can see the surrounding of growth is the major fact to impact children .On the other hand, we can not deny that the human beings nature still has some potential impacts in people’s personality. However, it is the major factor in shaping children’s personality. Therefore, I firmly advocate the children’s personality is by nuture. [em07]
