Some Suggestions
Hi Becky,
Thanks for your post. I'll reply in English, because I'm in a bit of a rush, and I can write English faster than Chinese. ;)
I'll first talk about the Speaking test, and then about the test in general:
If you have just a few days to prepare for the speaking test:
1. Make sure you speak English every day before the test.
2. Practice at least one stage 1, 2 and 3 topic each day.
3. Record yourself speaking (perhaps while practicing stage 2), then listen to the recording. You will notice some mistakes, and some ways that you could communicate more effectively. Focus on improving these areas. This method is a great way to improve your performance in a short period time. If possible, do this daily.
4. Get a good night's sleep before the test.
5. Warm up your English by doing some reading aloud or topic practice on the day of the test.
6. Relax and have fun!
For the other portions of the test:
1. Make sure you do at least a little reading, writing, and listening each day. Particularly writing, because you have the least practice in this area.
2. Hopefully you have done all of the Cambridge IELTS test papers. Analyze your results from these tests, and try to figure out which areas you need to improve in, and which areas you could improve quickly. Notice which areas you made mistakes in, and which types of questions you wasted time on.
3. Get a good night's sleep before the test.
4. Relax and have fun!
Hopefully these suggestions are helpful. Let me know if any of them are not clear, or if you have any other questions.
John
