TOP

You take modules in language and communication (60 credits), modules in education (60 credits), and complete a research portfolio (60 credits).
Language and communication modules include: professional communication; interpersonal communication; sociolinguistics; bilingualism and bilingual education; media communications in contemporary society; media as communication - critical discourse analysis of media texts.
Education modules include: management of change in education; managing and supporting learning; middle management in schools and colleges; leadership & strategic management; British studies; research methods in education; investigating learning in the classroom; human resource management in education; an introduction to counselling: theory and practice; developing thinking skills; evidence-based practice in counselling and pastoral care; and counselling children and young people.
Teaching is by lectures, case-based workshops, interactive seminars, and individual tutorials. Assessment is by course work (examinations, oral presentations and submitted work) and the research portfolio. The portfolio, different from a conventional dissertation, consists of a set of country files where you discuss the core cultural values of a target country and the implications for cross-cultural communication.

TOP

。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

TOP

TOP

TOP

TOP

TOP
