Although it is an recognition that young people are the important resources of our country, there still are many serious problems among the youth, beyond our love and education efforts, and could not be ignored. The governments should take care of this issues and solve them as soon as possible.
It is no longer to be surprised to see dozens of reports of juvenile delinquency on the local newspapers and link those innocent children with awful affairs such as bullying on campus, being induldged in drugs and abortions. With the increasing pressures of competition for exams or better jobs and spectacular profit beyond the drug trade, more and more teenagers bring drugs to schools and have been tempted to have a try on drug, which can easily ruin their health and future. The suituation is so urgent that the governments should really pay great attention to this issue as well as another serious problem-------abortions and ***. According to the recent survey, about 40% female students are not virgin anymore before 16 in China and some of them had more than one time abortion. We could not imagine these under age parents could continue their study and contirbute to their country whith their babies.
Besides all these extremely severe examples, pessimistically and unfortunately, psychological problems and health in bad condition become more extensive and could not get enough attention. Sitting in front of TV sets for a whole day, eating too much and lacking of the effective exercise can continuously put on people’s weight but never the quality of life. Wallowing in the internet games, losing themselves in this materialistic world and being bewildered by Hollywood’s films for their own core value often make the youth forget their life goals and enthusiasm. young people often come to a conclusion that what we see is not what we learn when they could not match the idealization and the reality.What is worse, mental hurt also can be from the pressure of great competition brought by the shortage of higher education, parents’ or families’ immoderate expectations and these will transform into the leading causes of direct conflicts and suicide.
The young people’s inexperience and gullibility easily leads them into trap.In recent years, people start to focus on all these problems referenced above. But what we need is not just analyze reports and there is a quite long way for the government to go on. In my oponion
Governments should constitute strict acts to avoid drug spread and punish criminals and also establish supporting system to help the adolescents to solve their mental issue.
Governments should investe more money to the foundation facilities for education, and aslo control the amount of violence and erotic senses in films and on television.
Governments should make children know the underage *** behaviour is immoral and prohibit it, and aslo play some advertisements telling them how to protect themselves from using a condom.
Overall, we will face more and more problems which we could not ignore among the youth during the process of modernalization of our society.it is never too late for the governments to do better for the bright future.
